Stargazer 03:48
You have the life that you see in the clouds You watch the sun rise and set from the lakes you've found And if your eyes begin to glaze over now You can always stargaze someplace where you're safe and sound So deep in the grove where you open up Don't waste away with a half filled cup In riverbeds, are you lonely? Well come out and play in your own way The weight of world seems so heavy now Lighten the load, your dirty laundry Down the mountain side, you see a new face Will you keep it alive and share your story? Well it's time to get away, and shed those layers that keep you enslaved You lie awake, and wrestle with those anxiety bears that bear witness To all your storms, I can relate, well fuck that noise and celebrate Now get stoked, hell yeah, this is the time for you to make your stand You will weather this storm
2.
Monochromes 03:19
Sitting on the rooftop, I can't let go Of all the stupid things that I think I know Swearing up a storm when I lose the flow Of all the little words that I need to throw Screaming from the rooftops "Let me grow" You're shouting from the other side "No no no" Can't this die with kindness, not overload? Leaving us in blindness, in the snow You think I'm only 25, but I'm an 88 key piano I want to play all the notes for the people below With the shades and colors that are in my code You wasted up my palette drawing monochromes Scraping up the ashes, even now Blurring all my lines, falcons on the prowl Musing me with every little single doubt Ending up a raw stump, can you hear me now? Rocking from the rooftops, back and forth Swaying from the treetops, around the board Leaving you the sawdust on the ground There is a wholeness to be found
3.
Waste the anger on the door Wake the giver in the floor boards Life will often ask for more Bruise this crystal into form We all fall down sometimes But we'll get back up, we'll get up, and get it again We all lose sight sometimes But we can't give up, we won't give, now its time to live We'll swing from tree to tree Like you've never seen Above the branches we'll be climbing with the greatest of ease We all fall down, now stand your ground Soar above the molten core Soothe the lover by the head board Find a new resolve to mourn Now you'll see just what's in store We all fall down We all fall down
4.
Fireside 03:37
Right lane stops, but the left one starts With disregard from your guarded heart Tie up the loose ends Love how the signs bend For you, the fear, no the fright won't stop, it gives you chills Have a thrill, just wet the quill and seal the deal Wallow in defense Wake up your lost sense If you feel a storm inside Get dry by the fireside Muzzle your electric mind Ground all the wires If you bleed the chaos dry You find silence with dynamite Fallout from the long goodbye Fires will find you Can't resist when the feeling starts With little screams from your wasted smarts Save all your receipts So you seem fancy Rely on skills, no the kind that will end up in spills Carry on, the crime of this is never wrong Follow the witness Wake up their lost sense You wake up drenched Soaked in regret What if you could, start to feel good And that's the way this story goes New candles burn if you let go
5.
I want to break out of here I will slay dragons this year Then maybe I'll disappear and hush the crowd I'll show you what I'm here for You can build castles and more And say goodbye to the old shores, old shores Last Saturday night Last Saturday night Last Saturday I woke up and thought I was dead This Saturday night This Saturday night This Saturday I'll wake up and write a new script I will write a new script Walk home Sunday, walk home someday Be vigilant for the sharp fangs of Monday Get up, make coffee by 10 Its time to dress up again Fake it, and make it, then you become it, my friend Dynamic shoulders pretend I know how to make my bed So neatly packed in a shed, I'll sleep on the grass I will write a new script I will write a new script Something that I can commit At least I think so
6.
House Guest 05:07
You can break down like anyone This is a story to write down when you're done Your galaxy is a desert now Thump your melancholy chest, I'll see you in the crowd Say goodbye to your house guest I think that its time to rest You're both weary from fascination Of each other's wickedness Young man won't you come up for air The weight of the fangs are the same everywhere Don't wait up if you're feeling scared Can't go back, never go back, they know that you care We are the only ones who lie in sand The banter that asks for wishes from fans And don't you forget to share that We'll hold on until you end up bare Hey you, hey you Don't wait for the other shoe Hey you, hey you To drop from your lonely mood Admit you're weak Take a swim, modestly Sink deep You keep acting like a nobody You went from a criminal To everyone's best friend Accept, the help And the guest will leave yourself
7.
Idle Hands 04:09
Forget yourself What's on your mind Today it's only shade Follow the forest path Burn the bridges down We don't see eye to eye These idle hands can't wait to fight We don't see eye to eye You make believe these enchanted nights Allow yourself To find a new way Into your old arcade Alone again, so am I Two fools alive I want to see your real face I can't describe the taste
8.
Hello my greatest fear Let me buy you a beer, friend And share your story Of all your favorite side effects As we stumble drunk into the street Pissing on pavement like cavemen, carefree Trek into the wilderness unknown Life will seem so weighted down below Tying hammocks to the trees that won't let go You can trust this, its built into our bones Now that we've been to war A band of brothers, washed on shore Make our way up the beachhead As hateful bullets fly between our beds Now we stumble bloody into the trenches Just like old friends mending each other's fences Our bones Our bones My young habits don't fool me again With those canteens of your old medicine What age was it when we met? I kind of forgot, that well, we were never ever really friends
9.
7 miles back, 7 miles back to my house Got my schoolbooks packed, got my schoolbooks packed, and I just found out Every kind of thing rustles through my brain, you know I don't make a sound Nothing really makes sense any more when the mind's blown What the hell happened, I cannot fathom with this stubborn stone There are strange howls in the night, now I can't find my Old hand me downs, I'll wear them around and hide this new bite 80 minutes in, 80 minutes into this mood Filter out the cold, filter out the cruel, noises that turn true Every kind of rain rattles through my brain, you know I don't make any sounds So far I'm good But I don't know if I'm right If, if I'm right?
10.
Obsession wears me out, its a bitter pill now And as it makes its way down, my stomach churns around Now you've waited for me, hoping that I'd provide relief From the toxicity, insane fantasy Ah, ah, ah, we happen all the time Ah, ah, ah, all the time I know how to fly, If you follow me down I will pick you off the ground Get your sneakers on kid, lets ride away on our sled From the frights in our life, we will conquer and rewind Ah, ah, ah, we happen all the time Ah, ah, ah, conquer and rewind Ah, ah, ah, we happen all the time Ah, ah, ah, all the time For god sake, look inside, I'll do the same Now for goodness sake, reach inside and break the chains Knock out the lights, this isn't funny Is it right to control every thing just to feel alright? Cool cool cool, laugh it off The only mistake I made was ever doubting myself And the progress that comes from pain No no no, keep on trucking, keep on trucking, keep on Let's go
11.
Lost again in this lazy fountain Soaked and worn No one's feeling grounded Crash your plans against a mountain Debris in your hair Things are fine, who cares? Careful now So go and be your own mystery Find your western dream Follow the sun, what does that mean? So go and be everyone's mystery Who's the wasted creep? Under the sun, where no one leaves Camping friends, they will help you mend As comfort sets in The static fades away again When you doubt on the years you missed out Someone tells you how There's nothing left in the fallout Careful now Coral drinks, waste deep Just like a famous beast Sorry not sorry, because sorries are cheap
12.
Alarm bells echo off inside your castle The horsemen have found you No more satellite Shoot the moon tonight Go on and make a life Gotta think it over, gotta think it over Take it off The mask that shrugs your shoulders Faces frown If you don't act like your neighbor What's that sound? Cauldrons boil when you stumble Meet your fate at the stable Go find some bandages and put them on Until your wound's gone So there you were Drowning under Octopus arms Make you stutter When you fall down, when you fall down There's a safe house, there's a safe house From the fallout, from the fallout Once you feel better, the walls start to smolder The mask that shrugs your shoulders
13.
Slow your head down With hollow sounds Way too loud Fill your bedroom With poetry And pretty things Calm your family You're the echo But there's room to grow You still make time to glow Follow me, follow me To the painted hills For wild beasts You can be, you can be On an endless ocean Where you can sleep Cool yourself off Now take a walk X marks the spot Time to slow down You're moving so fast Next you hear a crash Expose your skeleton Release your senses This seems so senseless Well maybe that's what this is

about

Written during a time of intense transformation and change. This album chronicles the calm, storm and cathartic freedom in discovering a new wilderness. Discussing liberation from the clutches of fear, and letting go with love. The record incorporates familiar rock, indie, and emo elements, while embracing a more pop oriented sound.
